Melodic heavy metal band from Germany, KINGS WINTER announced the release date of their second studio album “The Other Side Of Fear“, this album will be released on January 28, 2024.

This second album features 39 minutes of music, it combines the anthemic qualities of classic Heavy Metal with heavy riffs and high Gothenburg Sound melodies, on the other hand, this album is the beginning of a new chapter in the band’s history!

KINGS WINTER was formed in 2018 by husband and wife team Jule and Tobias Dahs and named after their hometown in Germany “Königswinter“, the duo quickly released their debut EP “Froging The Cataclysm” in 2019 and released their debut album “Edge Of Existence” in early 2021 recorded and mixed by guitarist Tobias in his home studio, both releases received good reviews from critics and fans and sparked the idea of turning this studio project into a real band.
During the pandemic the duo made the first part of a series of planned unplugged EPs “Sonic Silence – The Unplugged Sessions Vol.1” in 2022. Then Jule and Tobias followed their original plan and finally they invited Christian Schmitz. Then the three of them returned to the studio to start working on the second album “The Other Side Of Fear“, which features 8 new songs and will be released in January 2024. To complete the band’s lineup they invited Hendrik Franke on bass guitar and a yet-to-be-announced drummer. With these additions, KINGS WINTER is ready to take on the world in 2024 and beyond!
