EVERMORE Will Release Their New Album “In Memoriam” In April

Evermore Band

Swedish power metal band, EVERMORE will release their new album entitled “In Memoriam” on April 21, 2023 via Scarlet Records.

The follow up to their brilliant 2021 debut album “Court of the Tyrant King”, this “In Memoriam” album will be released in vinyl (limited edition), jewel case CD and digital.

The artwork on the new album was created by Christoph Peters.

EVERMORE writes songs by sticking to the rules of traditional European power metal music and packaged them in an extraordinary and unique way. With their debut album “Court of the Tyrant King” they showcased some amazing skills, now with their second album “In Memoriam” they are taking their ideas, songwriting and overall artistic approach to the next level.

Despite always adopting a heavy and aggressive tone, EVERMORE‘s stunning melodies interweave with each other to create a song that is intelligently structured but always catchy and pleasant to the ear. This time, with their new album, the Swedish band has added the use of a church choir to add another sonic layer to their sound.

Lyrically, “In Memoriam” can be considered an album about the people and everyday struggles that affect us all:

“To those who lose their voice in the dark of night – Compassion is the flame that carries you home.”

On their journey EVERMORE wanted to create music that makes you feel “something” and creates a sense of self-assurance, exhilarating mood and motivation that is strongly associated with the metal genre: you are the story!

EVERMORE lineup:
Johan Haraldsson – vocals
Johan Karlsson – guitar, bass, piano, orchestration
Andreas Vikland – drums
