Italian symphonic power metal band, APOSTOLICA will release their new album “Animae Haeretica” on September 22, 2023 through Scarlet Records.
The second album for a mystical project featuring veterans of the international heavy metal scene (a concept album revolving around Apostolic, an ancient religious movement with unorthodox beliefs), this album “Animae Haeretica” will be released in Jewelcase CD and digital formats.
APOSTOLICA has established a new cult based on its mysterious and attractive image, bombastic and pure sound, highly catchy riffs, and many unforgettable bits.
The standout style of the new album is dark Teutonic power metal, enriched by thundering church choirs and organs featuring epic orchestration and majestic, powerful vocals.
Drawing inspiration from obscure Apostolic history (a Christian sect founded in Northern Italy in the late 13th century by Gherardo Segarelli), “Animae Haeretica” delves deep into the sinister tales of this mysterious movement.
