Rockshots Records are delighted to announce the signing of a contract with Brazilian power metal band DRAGONHEART for the upcoming release of their long-awaited new album “Dragonheart’s Tale”.
The band was formed in 1997 by two brothers Marco and Marcelo Caporasso, Eduardo Marques and Mauricio Taborda, DRAGONHEART has released four albums, “Underdark” (2000) “Throne of the Alliance” (2002), “Vengeance in Black” (2005) and “Battle of Sanctuary” (2015).
In 2019 the band invited DRAGONHEART co-founder, vocalist and guitarist Eduardo Marques, to rejoin the band after 20 years. He then accepted an invitation and a challenge to make a new album with the same musical character from the first two albums.
guitarist Marco Caporasso comments:
“With the return of our original singer, Eduardo Marques, we are returning to our roots. “Dragonheart’s Tale” is going to be a 100% DRAGONHEART album. I think it’s going to be a blast among our fans, they’ve been waiting so long for a new album!”
Mixed and mastered by Fredrik Nordström, featuring Henning Basse (METALIUM, FIREWIND), with cover artwork by Andreas Marschall (BLIND GUARDIAN), “Dragonheart’s Tale” is an epic power metal album, beautiful music, with acoustic score, and sound. which will transport listeners to the fantasy world created by the band with their new concept album.
“Dragonheart’s Tale” will be officially released worldwide in August 2023, while the first single will be released on June 15!
