FELLOWSHIP Returns With New Album “The Skies Above Eternity”

UK symphonic power metal band FELLOWSHIP will release their new album “The Skies Above Eternity” on November 22nd, 2024 via Scarlet Records. FELLOWSHIP are a promising power metal act in 2022 with their incredible debut album “The Saberlight Chronicles”; after bringing positive vibes to their concerts in Europe and Japan, and making their first American appearance as a headliner at Mad With Power Fest on August 2, the British band are now ready to take things to the next level with their sophomore record.

Recorded once again by Richard Campbell at Orpheus Studio, mixed and mastered by Alexander Backlund and Ricardo Borges at Fascination Street Studios, and adorned with stunning artwork by Hungarian master Péter Sallai, “The Skies Above Eternity” is a journey into a new side of FELLOWSHIP’s music. Darker, more dynamic, but still retaining FELLOWSHIP’s signature joyful vibe, the album tells a new story that delves deeper into melancholy with themes of helplessness and resistance, inviting us to find joy in the darkest places through its uplifting and powerful chorus, and reminding us that every new day brings new hope – because sometimes all it takes to find it is to look up at the sky above you.

Drawing additional influence from Japanese power metal and delivering non-stop bangers from start to finish, this might just be the work that catapults FELLOWSHIP all the way up to the stars!

The first single “Dawnbreaker” taken from the new album “The Skies Above Eternity” was released on October 10th, 2024 which also comes in music video format. “Dawnbreaker” is a song about rebellion and the desire for freedom, with a beat that infects the listener with hope, drive, and ambition. Everyone has moments where we feel like the world is completely dark; where neither light nor sound can penetrate the walls we build to protect ourselves, or hide behind. If we stay in the dark long enough, our eyes adapt and our pupils dilate – we end up with ‘iron eyes’, all black, and hungry for any trace of light to find its way into our dark world

Then the second single “Victim” is released today by their label Scarlet Records. “Victim” is FELLOWSHIP’s darkest song to date and centres on how heavy the burdens we carry, and how addicted our vices can become when life gets tough. Isolated and lonely verses lead into a powerful chorus that unleashes pent-up anger and, as the song goes on, turns it into something positive. “Victim” is not just about feeling like the world is out to get you, but about overcoming those feelings and fighting your inner demons with everything you’ve got.
